Met de Hunger For Words Talking Pet Goal Tracker kan je het leerproces met de Talking Pets Speech Button sets bijhouden. Hunger for Words is opgericht door Christina Hunger, een logopediste die in haar puppy Stella een hoop kenmerken terugzag die ze ook ziet bij peuters vlak voor ze gaan praten. In de speech buttons van Hunger for Words wordt dierenpsychologie, spraakpathologie en AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)  gecombineerd tot een leerzaam en leuk spel waarin de hond leert zijn of haar stem te laten horen. 

De Goal Tracker maakt het eenvoudig en leuk de voortgang van het leerproces bij te houden. Met de meegeleverde uitwisbare marker kunnen alle hoogtepunten op het magnetische bord genoteerd worden. Om het geheel nog leuker te maken, bevat het pakket 126 magneten én een blanco stickervel. Inclusief handleiding geschreven door de oprichtster.

When I read this book, I found myself nodding my head so much and lovind the lessons taught. There is a story about the little pig who said "I won't" whenever his mom asked him for help. Then he learns he is missing out by always not wanting to help when his brother "I will" gets to have a fun day at the dock. Sweet little stories about how to act appropriately when you are a guest and how to treat others. It is just darling. My daughter LOVES it because she watches the Richard Scary cartoons on Saturday about solving mysteries. She keeps asking me to read this book to her. I love being able to teach these lessons through this darling book. Highly recommended. :)

My 2 yr old son LOVES this book

I bought this for my son to introduce him to saying please and thank you in a manner that wasn't me (his mom) or his dad constantly asking him to say it. Now he reads through this book at least once a day (he has for the past 3 months that we've had this book), and he recites to me all the things that you should do and all the things that you shouldn't do. He points out who is good and who is bad in the book. And when he acts up all I have to say to him is "does Lowly worm (or whoever I can remember) do that in the book? Is he rude?" and instantly he is reminded to not act a certain way. It's much more effective than me asking him to stop. This is a book that should be in every child's library. I read the "top" review here, whatever that means, where the reviewer stated they didst' like the book because it was too negative. That review reeks of a nanny parent; please get over yourself. Give me a break - you are and adult and a parent, you are not your child's friend and a healthy dose of Vitamin NO is exactly what every 2 yr old needs. Highly highly highly recommend for all parents of very young children.
