4 Corner - Turnbuckle kit:

  • 316 stainless steel hardware
  • 3/16" stainless steel wire rope
  • Two wire rope clamps
  • Four small turnbuckles
  • Four D-shackles
  • Four 5/16" bow shackles

Turnbuckles, bow shackles, d-shackles, and wire rope clamps are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel. This hardware is designed to stand up to harsh conditions and looks good doing it. The turnbuckle has lock nuts that allow the tension be set and locked into place. White lithium grease applied to the threads of the turnbuckle will prevent seizing and promote smoother operation.

The stainless steel 3/16" wire rope can be run through the perimeter pocket of the sail and creates a complete loop using wire rope clamps to attach the wire rope to itself.  When properly installed, the hardware transfers the tensile load from the corners to the center of the sail.

Still holding up to my super-chewer!

It's a very good product. I would recommend this toy for a heavy chewing dog. My main reasons it's not 5 stars, it's HEAVY and the eyes peeled right off. My pup really likes to throw his toys around, this thing sounds like a cannon ball that's going to go through our floor! He also tries to destroy everything so he was chewing on the eyes and he would have definitely eaten them if I wasn't paying attention.
