THE STORY:

This oil painting of a Pessoa Legacy XP3 saddle is painted on a 6x6" panel with an 8x8" open grain wood frame. The worn leather noticeable on its knee roll and flap looks as if this saddle has stories to tell of the horses and riders it's encountered over the years. 4 hours and 35 minutes went into creating this painting.

Was it brought along to horse shows? Maybe a little girl struggled to throw it over a school pony's back every Wednesday after school. Only the saddle's owner knows what life it's encountered; but even then, a saddle has secret memories we can only speculate through its stains and wrinkles.
