Description: 

The KGW Bolt-On 22 2H6 is a Japanese made model equipped with two "Kz Classic Humbucker" pickups. The Kz Classic is a 50's style humbucking pickup that uses Alnico II magnets. It is a vintage style pickup with an arrangement that emphasizes picking nuances.

This pickup has been mounted on the Kz One, which has a mahogany set neck body, but this time, it has been mounted on the KGW Bolt-On 22 series, which has an alder body. Even in combination with the alder body/maple neck, it produces a thick and clear sound.

The guitar features 1 volume and 1 tone control and is equipped with a humbucker coil tap switch in addition to the 3-way lever switch. Six different sound variations can be achieved with simple operation.

Main features of KGW Bolt-On 22 2 H6

Basic parts like bodies and necks are made in a Japanese factory, but the final works like the crowning and the dressing of frets, smoothing the edges of the fingerboard, assembling parts and final adjustments are undertaken in our own shop in Zushi.

Body top and back are contoured for a more comfortable fit to the body. A plateless neck joint enhances playability while emphasizing sound and strength.

We adopt a bolt-on Slim "C" neck shape which has the same nut width/thickness as the conventional Bolt-On modern "C", but the round shape of the grip has been adjusted. It features a slim feel.

Synchronized tremolo unit with carefully selected string spacing and material

KGW is equipped with Gotoh 510T-SF1 synchronized tremolo unit. The saddles are of pressed steel, and the string spacing is carefully selected 10.8mm.
