HISTORIC PROVENANCE
The cushion draws inspiration from Jean Marc Nattier’s 1756 portrait of Madame Bergeret de Frouville as Diana, goddess of the hunt, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The spotted motif reimagines the panther skin worn by the sitter, transforming historical symbolism into modern comfort.
